L2 Mystique Rules and Regulations

It is the right of all our users to be able to enjoy their time whilst using our service. To protect this right, all users must agree to and abide by the following rules. Users who fail to do so will be punished based on their specific offence. By using our service you agree to comply fully and without exception to the rules detailed on this page.

Please Note:
L2Mystique is not an official lineage II server. This is a private, free to play server. We do not in any way run, use, or have an affiliation with the official Lineage II service and/or NCSoft. This server is using “L2J”, an unstable and incomplete free server emulation project. By connecting to our server you accept that our staff will try to aid and support your gaming experience but they cannot correct all issues instantly.
We retain the right to take any action necessary if your actions are against the server rules. GM discretion will be enforced whenever a situation does not fall under these rulings.
We kindly ask all our users to be vigilant against rules breakers and to report them under the abuse report section of the forum.

Server Rules:

USE OF CHAT

Users may not post / reveal any information about another user that is not related to the game or L2Mystique. Posting / revealing information about yourself is done at your own risk.
The primary language of this server is English. Players may use only English in Global (%) and trade (+) chat channels. Players may use any language they wish in Regional shout (!), Alliance ($), Clan (@), Party (#) and private messages (“).
No user may solicit / advertise another Lineage II server, game or service not related to L2Mystique. Comments that degrade the server or any member of staff are also prohibited. Anyone caught doing so will have their account(s) suspended.
Smack / Trash talk is allowed . Users are prohibited from making sexist / racist comments. GM discretion will be enforced to determine what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.
Users who have access to global chat or "Hero voice" (%) Should not use that channel as a way to communicate with staff members. All users should use the petition system. Heroes that spam the global channel or use it to constantly flame others or write in any language other than English will be punished.
The punishment for breaking any chat rules may vary from a temporary chat ban to jail. More server cases will result in an account suspension.

GM/STAFF

All communications with the staff should be done in English unless otherwise stated by a member of staff.
Users may contact the staff either via the petition system in game (/gm) or via the forum. Do not ask a GM to pm you or initiate a party or trade request without their prior consent.
Lying to a member of staff is strictly prohibited. Offenders will have their accounts suspended.
Users may not divulge the content of private conversations with a member of staff unless given expressed permission by said staff member(s). This rule covers the content of private messages and petitions.
Users are required to comply with GM instructions at all times.
Abuse directed at a staff member will not be tolerated and will be dealt with severely.
Users must not do anything that hinders a member of staff from carrying out their duties.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Users may have an unlimited number of accounts.
Users may box (run 2 or more clients at the same time) only under certain circumstances.
Account owners are responsible for any breach of these rules.
Our staff will never ask for your account password.
We are not responsible for your account(s) security. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure their account is secure. Sharing account information is strongly discouraged. We will not be held responsible for any unauthorised access of any of your accounts.

DONATIONS There are No Donations Right now

Donating is not required to play on L2Mystique or to be competitive.
All donation prices are fixed and are thus non-negotiable.
Donors are not exempt from the rules and will not receive any special treatment.
If you recall your donation then your reward(s) will be revoked and your account(s) suspended.
Donations are non refundable.
Donation rewards are non-exchangeable.
If you donate then you understand that you are making a voluntary one-way contribution and are not purchasing anything.
Any prejudice towards donors will not be tolerated and will result in the offender being punished.

BUGS / EXPLOITS

Users are obliged to report any bugs to the staff via the bug report section of the forum. For bugs of a sensitive or exploitable nature, do not post about them. Instead, please contact the staff via the private messaging system.
Users may not use a bug to their advantage (exploiting) or tell another user about said bug.
Abusing geodata errors to gain access to certain areas you would not normally be able to access is not permitted.
The use of any 3rd party software / key loggers / automation software not sanctioned by the Lineage II client is strictly prohibited. Any accounts found to be in breach of this will be suspended. In conjunction with this rule, the use of any hardware to automate any aspect of game play is strictly prohibited and will be treated in the same regard as software.

CHARACTERS

Users may have an unlimited number of characters.
Character names / titles may not contain hateful or defamatory words. If your name / title is deemed to be inappropriate then it will be changed by a GM. This rule also covers clan names.
Character names / titles may also not contain any word or phrase that implies that they are a GM / Admin or member of staff..
Attempting to impersonate a member of staff is strictly prohibited. Anyone in breach of this rule will be IP banned.
Attempting to impersonate another player in order to deceive staff and/or other users is forbidden.

ITEMS / TRADING

Users are responsible for all items on their characters. The staff are not responsible for items that are sold / traded / destroyed or dropped. Users are advised to check all trades carefully before confirming.
Users who loose any in game assets due to server errors / bugs will not be reimbursed. This includes any items / points or quests from in game functions.
Users may not sell any in-game assets for real world currency. Anyone found doing so will have their accounts suspended. All trades must be made using in game assets only.
Private stores may not block paths ways or obstruct users from accessing an NPC. Shops that do will be moved or kicked.
We strongly recommend that you DO NOT drop your items on the floor. If you wish to move an item from one character to another on the same account then please use the freight system.
GRIEFING

Users may not heal / buff raid bosses.

EVENTS

Events may be automated or manually carried out by a member of staff.
Users may only have 1 character in an event. Boxing characters in any event is strictly prohibited.
Rules for manual events will be laid down by the attending GM. Listen carefully to any instructions.
The staff will remove you from any event if your actions are deemed to be illegal or you fail to participate in the event (this includes users who go AFK during the event.)

THE GRAND OLYMPIAD

Feeding points between characters IS allowed.
Users may not attack their opponent before the match starts.
Users may not attack their opponent through the gate.
Users may not glitch on to any part of the area. This includes the gate.
Users who break these rules will have half their Olympiad points wiped for the month as a warning the first time they are caught doing so and all their points wiped for the month if they keep braking the rules.
